The self-flushing wellpoint, 2“
What is the self-flushing suitable for?
As the name suggests, the self-flushing wellpoint (screen width = 0.3 mm) can be flushed into suitable soils (light and medium-heavy formations) using only the medium water. A drilling device or a flushing lance is not required to insert the filter probe. In addition, the inner filter pipe saves almost 1 meter of installation depth.
What advantages does the HC self-flushing wellpoint have over most other makes?
It has a flushing tip and a head piece made of malleable cast iron. This choice of material also ensures reliable operation under higher installation loads. Imagine pushing with an excavator bucket because a larger stone is preventing the flushing filter from sinking. A steel tip is immediately bent, making further use impossible
The HC filter has a so-called brass ring valve. This effectively directs the spray jet downwards, preventing it from being lost on the filter surface. The filter casing itself is made of an impact-resistant PVC plastic material.
By using 2“ threaded pipes, any lance length can be combined.
The disposable filter, 2“
is a good alternative in light soils. As a rule, the filter is set using a flushing lance and, rather rarely, a so-called flushing casing pipe. In stable soils, the filter can of course also be inserted into a borehole. The disposable filter is available in fixed lengths and on rolls (100 m rolls). The filter area can be individually determined when purchasing the filter on a roll. For example, by choosing the appropriate filter length, existing barriers can be overcome or, in the case of finer soils, the absorption capacity of the filter can be increased. The disposable filter is considered a lost filter. After the work is completed, the material remains in the soil.
The plastic filter, 2“
The impact-resistant and lightweight plastic filter is an inexpensive alternative for light soils or for boreholes that have already been drilled. The filter, closed at the bottom by a sealing plug, has a 1 m long slot (slot width = 0.3 mm). 6 m long lances are stocked as standard (1 m filter plus 5 m attachment tube length). Other length combinations can be provided on request. The filter hose is mounted directly on the filter lance. The filter lance is usually reusable.
