STEP ECON

HÜDIG generators are available from output ranges 30 up to 1000 kVA (higher outputs on request).
These ECON generators are designed for applications at rough construction sites and are characterized by a well-dimensioned noise protection hood. On request, these aggregates can also be supplied with an emergency power automatic control being installed in the noise protection hood, including mains switching. Generators of this successful series are famous for their solid equipment and rugged design (see cubic capacity).

Structure

The components are vibration-proof mounted on a steel-beam-frame. Standard deliveries are gen-sets with weather-proof noise-protected canopy. An integrated diesel-fuel-tank is subject of standard delivery, too. The starter-battery is maintenance-free quality. For trouble-free transportation a centralized lifting-eye is designed. Additionally hoisting-devices are fixed at the basic beam-frame (from STEP 150 onward – shackles on each side).
Drive-Motors

Water-cooled industrial standard 4-stroke Diesel engines from various manufactures secure professional power. These Diesel engines dispose a very high reliability combined with a low fuel-consumption.
Self-Controlled Synchronous Alternator

The brushless electronic controlled maintenance-free high-efficient alternators are powered directly by the Diesel-engine.
Chassis (optional)
Full galvanized axles according to the overall size. Single-axle and dual-axle chassis are available. Equipped with adjustable tow-bar with DIN tow-eye.
On request equipped with towing-ball system, lighting-system according traffic-regulations and with TÜV-certificate and vehicle-documents.
Noise-Protection Canopy

The weather-proof steel canopy is bolted system and could be removed completely.
The industrial-standard coating provides the highest corrosion-protection. The exhaust is integrated in the canopy in the complete range of ECON gen-sets. The noise-level is LWA 88 dB. The doors of the canopy are dimensioned generously and are lockable and enable easy access to all components of the unit for maintenance and inspection. Concealed lockable and stainless locking devices are the maximum protection against any damages.
Control-Panel

The standard range of delivery includes the complete instrumentation like volt-meter, Amp-meter, phase inverter circuit, frequency-meter and hour-meter. The engine-safety-device switches off the engine automatically in cases of oil-deficiency and excess temperature. The controls and instruments are well-protected placed behind a screen.
Multiple Socket Outlet

The range STEP 30 ECON to STEP 125 ECON is equipped with multiple socket outlets. The range STEP 150 ECON to STEP 450 ECON is equipped with connection bus. All sockets are secured according to the VDE-Standards with a pre-fuse and residual current circuit breaker.
