Electrical reinforcement for rental fleet of our customer
HC 488 with "Whisper" enclosure reach Canada
For more than a decade our HC 488 have been in service in Canada, but in the standard version without the "Whisper" enclosure. While the standard version is already characterized by a very low noise level thanks to electric drives and well thought-out design, the "Whisper" enclosure for electric units can further enhance this characteristic. That's why our customer Aquatech ordered 6 additional HC 488 fully equipped with "Whisper" enclosure for their rental fleet in Toronto, Canada.
Especially in inner-city areas, the HC 488 with "Whisper" housing can show off all its advantages: Low noise level of 44 dB(A) at a distance of 10 meters (calculated sound pressure level) combined with a maximum capacity of 280 m³/h volume flow of the water pumps, in addition to a maximum volume flow of the vacuum pumps of 200 m³/h.
In addition, the HC 488 impresses with its dry-running vacuum pumps with long service lives and low maintenance requirements. Dry-running means that the vacuum pumps do not require any oil for lubrication - another plus point from an ecological point of view.
This makes it easy for project managers to satisfy all stakeholders: High performance to achieve the client's drawdown target with maximum efficiency and at the same time without giving residents sleepless nights.
