So-called extraction irrigation machines need a support leg for a linear position of the PE pipe. For work simplification HÜDIG has developed a full-hydraulic support leg which allows an easy, comfortable and safe operation. 

Description of Function

Control of the particular functions is done by a separate control valve near the central processing unit. This operation unit is also centrally located and easily accessible. Oil supply is ensured via the existing hydraulic hoses. One control unit at the tractor is sufficient.

The control valve for the support leg has three functions. The first two control circuits allow sideward moving of the pipe boom and its height-adjustment. Variable track widths from 1.800 mm up to 2.250 mm are trouble-free covered by the dimensions of the pipe boom. The third control circuit opens and closes the pipe guidance cage being equipped with bearing-mounted rollers. Thus, the task of winding and unwinding of the PE pipe is user-friendly solved.

Additionally, the backwards-protruding boom arm has been designed as telescopic. By this constructive trick the needed space is reduced to a minimum, e.g. during winter storing in the machine hall.

Retrofitting on existing machines is possible without any problems.
