How much vacuum is necessary?

Our dry-running vacuum pumps generate a negative pressure of -0.92 bar or -0.99 bar for the oil-lubricated version. These are particularly high values that allow groundwater to be lowered beyond six meters. But what happens if the construction site is only four or even three meters deep?

The electric or diesel-powered pump units allow the vacuum to be adjusted to suit the respective depth. This enables energy to be saved, which is especially important for long-term projects.
