Task:

The customer Reinhold Meister from Hengersberg had the task to fill textile bags of size 500 m³ with sand from the shore area of a lake for bank stabilization purpose. This work can be done very cost-optimized with the right pump technique. Systems which have been used before were worn very quickly and caused very high cost regarding maintenance and repair. The main task – filling the textile bags within a reasonable period of time – could not be realized with the existing system due to cost reasons. All in all, the time needed for filling of the textile bags was simply too long.

The solution is a reliable and wear-resistant pump system, an armour-plate pump made by TOYO, which has proven in thousands of applications. HÜDIG GmbH & Co. KG made the pump selection for the customer. For this application, pump type DP30 has been chosen. The result is that the efforts for filling of the 500 m³ textile bags have minimized considerably.

The implementation of pump type TOYO DP30 increased efficiency in this application and decisively saves operation and repair cost.
