Equipment Insurance Conditions
For HÜDIG rental machines and equipment
- Insured objects
Mobile machines and equipment such as generators and pumps with a replacement value of €5,000.00 or more. - Insured interests
The interest of the lessor of the insured objects is insured. - Significant insured risks
Damage caused by theft, design, material and workmanship defects, short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, failure of measuring, control and safety devices, fire, explosion and transport damage will be compensated. In addition, clean-up and disposal costs as well as decontamination and disposal costs for soil will be reimbursed up to a maximum of €2,500.00 per insured event. Further consequential damages are not included in the insurance coverage!!!
With the exception of theft, losses will not be reimbursed. - Significant non-insured risks
Incorrect operation, gross negligence, war and confiscation, normal weather conditions, permanent overloading, wear and tear, defects, nuclear energy. - Excess
€ 500.00 per insured event. For Toyo pumps € 1,500.00 per insured event. - Compensation
In the event of partial damage, the costs necessary for the repair of the rental device will be reimbursed. In the event of a total write-off, compensation will be paid based on the current value. - Place of insurance
Insurance cover is only provided within the place of insurance. The place of insurance is in any case the area of operation within the Federal Republic of Germany. - Premium, beginning and end of liability
The beginning and the end of the insurance cover the period for which the insurance premium is paid. Usually from the time of collection to the redelivery of the rental device at one of our rental stations. The insurance premium is based on the current price list and is charged at the same time as our rental invoice. The insurance cover automatically lapses if the premium payment obligations are not met. - Conduct in the event of damage

Damages that are expected to exceed €10,200.00 must be reported in advance by telephone or fax.
