HÜDIG GmbH & Co. KG presents a new Diesel vacuum pump unit.

The new Diesel vacuum unit captivates by many convincing arguments: Starting from the maximum permissible total discharge flow of 170 m³/h to the single cylinder Hatz motor with 8,4 kW up to the technical details like the high service life of the vacuum system of up to 3.000 operation hours and more.

The applications vary from accident deployments to permanent dewatering with up to maximum 15 – 20 wellpoints (the number depends on geologic facts).


With the delivery of HC 488 Electro-Vacuum-Pump-Units and HC 522 Diesel-Vacuum-Pump-Units to our distributor and partner VORTEX in Beresfield in NSW in Australia HÜDIG is now available on all five continents. In Europe, Africa, America, Asia and now Australia the quality and the cost-effectiveness of the Vacuum-Pump-Units and the according accessories for the dewatering and water-control became widely accepted. Now the worldwide chain of distributors is closed.

The task was to remediate inshore waters of a local recreation area in the close range of a former gas plant.

For this work the EGGERS Environment Technique in Berlin/Germany required a mobile gen-set and a Heavy-Duty-Submersible TOYO Pump Type DP 20 together with 330 m of DN 180 flanged pipes with according floaters


Development of a mobile compound disposing a medium with high solid content (liquid manure) about a distance of approx. 2,850 m under the intention to safe costs. To the background: in the past it was necessary to transport the liquid manure through an urban residential district by a tractor and trailer.  The essential effect of this new development is to avoid the unpleasant odour and the noise pollution of the tractor-transport.

The making of intact foundation-soil for a federal road out of bog-soil by the use of special vacuum system

The challenge:

For a construction project in the north of Germany it was necessary using an operation system for the consolidation of soft to mushy soil thus under difficulty conditions.

The vacuum-pumps in service should be distinguished by environmental friendly and low maintenance requirements. The units should convey water and air and should be dimensioned for special well-defined low pressure conditions.
